Hey there! I'm Marianne Kirkland, but my friends affectionately call me Moura (nickname) Ayad (maiden name). As the Owner and Certified Wedding Planner at My Dream Planners, I bring the magic to your special day! My certification from The Certified Wedding Planner Society, the crème de la crème of wedding planning programs, ensures that I'm equipped with the best skills in the biz. But more importantly, I'm absolutely thrilled about celebrating all the incredible moments in your life, especially your wedding! It's my mission to make your dreams come true, so you can fully immerse yourself in the pure joy of getting married.

When you choose me as your wedding planner, it's all about YOU! You're my number one priority, and I promise to plan your wedding with utmost honesty, grace, integrity and kindness, keeping you at the heart of the whole affair. I'll be with you every step of the way, making sure you're well taken care of and that all your needs and expectations are met. My goal is to create an unforgettable journey, from the planning process to the big day itself. I want both to be filled with incredible moments and lasting memories that will make you say, "Wow!"

Now, let’s dive into some fun facts about me! Besides being a passionate wedding planner, I’m a Senior Software Engineering Manager & IT Delivery Lead. I graduated with a BS in MIS and started my career as a computer programmer. I’m also a Global Director for WITI – Women in Technology International where I help talented women and people in the global technology industry to develop their talent up to their true potential. I know it’s rare these days but I truly enjoy my job and working in the IT world. I simply adore spending quality time with my family and drawing inspiration from the amazing people who surround me. I’m truly blessed with a loving husband, we have a mischievous cat and two adorable dogs—a Yorkie who’s convinced he’s a mighty German Shepherd, and an American Bulldog who believes she’s as tiny as the Yorkie. They definitely keep life interesting! My parents have always encouraged, supported me and I’m so blessed to be their daughter. My brother is one of the closest people to me and I simply adore his family (wife, niece and nephew). I have an amazing large extended families of 12 uncle and aunts, each of them has anywhere between 2-7 children and a few of them have grandchildren!  

Most importantly, God is always my #1 priority! I’m a Coptic Orthodox Christian – I love ALL and I don’t judge or discriminate against anyone for any reason.
